About Me:
Hi and Welcome!
I am a physics and math teacher at St. John's-Kilmarnock School, a small independent school in southern Ontario, Canada. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked in the field of planetary science for 10 years. I obtained my PhD from the University of Guelph working with the Alpha Particle X-Ray Spectrometer (APXS) on NASA's Curiosity rover. I then moved to Ithaca, NY to work at Cornell University as a science team member on both the Curiosity and Opportunity Mars rovers.

I'm a lover of rocks, space, nature, the outdoors, and my fur babies Yuri and Momo!
